Community fundraising

If you are interested in helping by volunteering to raise funds for MND research and services, you are also helping our members. Funds raised are used to find out more about MND causes and effects and to help run MND NSW services, such as the no-cost loan of equipment to people living with MND and education programs for members, carers and health professionals.

Please show your support for one of the participants in the MND Community events. You can leave a message of support along with sponsorship dollars to help them achieve their fundraising targets. Follow the links from the event to their everyday hero page.

Christmas at the B

14 Dec 2024 7:00 pm

For the fourth year in a row, Queanbeyan Players will host Christmas at The B on Saturday, 14 December.

At the previous three charity nights, QP have raised approximately $11,000. Firstly, for the Loadsman family, a local Queanbeyan family whose wife and mother Tasch had been struck down with MND. In 2022 and 2023, QP raised funds for MND NSW, and will be supporting them again in 2024.

The B will once again be set up with cabaret style seating with tables of 10 people. Individual tickets are also available for purchase. On the night, drinks can be purchased from the B Bar. (This is a licenced premises, and no BYO drinks are permitted).

This year there will be a Dress Code – so please dress up in your fun and cheery Christmas attire. There may even be prizes for the best dressed Christmas-themed outfit!

We hope you can join QP for a night full of fun and laughter with the QP Christmas Choir singing carols, rounds of Trivia, a Raffle and special guests on the night, Prism Jazz Ensemble.

Grazing Boxes from Lazy Grazer are available for pre-order at the time of purchasing tickets (until 12pm on 11th December 2024). When adding a grazing box to your order, please ensure that you have completed the questionnaire at checkout. This year, the following options are available:
