Greg Corr has been volunteering for MND NSW since 2008 in Sydney and surrounding suburbs. In that time, he has been busily helping to raise awareness about motor neurone disease and assisting with merchandise sales to help fund the support equipment and education services we offer people living with MND, their carers and families.

He has assisted with packing Greeting Cards and MND NSW Print News, and has also assisted with stocktakes at our head office in Gladesville.

Greg has also taken part in Motor Neurone Diseases Awareness Week leading volunteer teams with merchandise sales at Circular Quay and Central Railway Stations.

He has assisted at Bong Bong Picnic races and even volunteered at Judith Durham Concerts at the State Theatre and Sydney Opera House.

Greg commenced volunteering with MND NSW as a result of the support provided to him and his late mother during her journey through Motor Neurone Disease.

“I have continued volunteering with MND NSW as it is a way to keep in contact with people whose lives have been touched by Motor Neurone Disease. I enjoy meeting people at the MND NSW activities such as Walk to D’Feet MND, Day of Hope and Remembrance etc.”

Greg believes volunteering is important as it is a way of keeping active in the community.

“Others should volunteer with MND NSW to continue the good work of the organisation”
