Webinar: Translating Genetic Insights into Care
The 2026 National MND Health Professionals Webinar Series is a collaboration between MND State Associations including MND Victoria, MND NSW, MND SA, MND WA and MND QLD.
This webinar is the second in a series of 5 webinars. You can purchase a ticket to this webinar individually or purchase the bundle of 5 webinars at a discounted price.
Translating Genetic Insights into Care
The role of genetics in the underlying pathology of MND is now recognised to be of critical importance. While some cases of MND are clearly familial, emerging evidence indicates that genetic factors also play a causal role in a subset of sporadic presentations.
Hosted by MND Victoria, this session will explore the clinical and therapeutic implications of genetic discoveries, approaches to genetic testing and counselling, and how multidisciplinary collaboration supports individuals and families navigating genetic aspects of MND.
