Are you a family member or friend providing care for a person with motor neurone disease?

Services offered by MND NSW to people living with motor neurone disease are not only available to the person who has been diagnosed with MND, but also to family members or friends who are caring for them.

 

These include the MND Info LineMND Advisorssupport groupseducation and information sessions and information resources.

MND NSW Carer Program
You can register to join our Carer Program HERE. A service that provides education for carers to help them better understand MND and the supports available to them. This also includes us adding you to our carers mailing list so we can keep you updated with any events or useful resources.

Carer Support Groups 
We hold several online and in person events throughout the year for carers. To see when our next carers events are, please visit our events page. Kitchen Table Conversations are held twice a month online and are open to all carers and our Youth Hub runs bi-monthly online for young carers. 

Carer Gateway

Carer Gateway is an Australian Government initiative for anyone who is an unpaid carer. If you care for a family member or friend, then Carer Gateway could help you. Carers can be any age and can provide any sort of care. This service can provide practical information and advice, free counselling, financial grants and other services and support you may need.
